The piece is made from an American oak whiskey barrel stave. The bottle holders are made from the original hoops that held the original barrel together. We twist each one by hand and coat it with an oil bronze finish. These are built to last and look awesome!
This piece is amazing, easy to hang and fully functional. The barrels used to make these are from large 53 gallon American Oak bourbon barrels. We buy them from a brewer in Salt Lake City, Utah. They used them to age their beer 3 times. After the third time, they are considered below grade barrels for additional aging uses, which makes them perfect for reclamation.
