The reclaimed metal "Gumby" bookshelf is hand-crafted from salvaged sheet metal and steel piping for that perfect, authentic industrial look. The unique past behind each piece of metal along with the hand-crafted nature of its construction give each salvaged metal bookshelf its own unique character. Rivets along the edge of each piece of reclaimed sheet metal provide texture. A great shelf for tighter spaces. Each individual shelf is sized differently than the others, with additional side access offered on two shelves.

Originating from the rustbelt of northeast Ohio, a unique design with an artful touch is behind every detail of this furniture. Each piece is made mostly out of found objects and materials, each piece encoded with its own history. To that avail, each piece then is unique and often unduplicated. As the designer says, "It doesn't take a genius to see the potential in everyday toss-outs, but it does take a lot of work to bring that potential to reality. It's a way of life for me, and I love it. I hope you do too."
